I can’t believe it is already the middle of April! The past month and a half has flown by with the trip to Guatemala and our Immersion Weekend with the School of Missions students. We apologize for not getting this letter out sooner but the past several weeks have been so full we have barely kept up!
It seems like just yesterday I was boarding a plane with 40, Seventh and Eighth graders bound for Guatemala! During the 10 day trip we were granted access to 13 different schools ranging from elementary to high school and were able to personally minister to over 3,000 students and teachers. I was blown away at the favor we had in the schools and with the instructors, many of them asking us to pray for wisdom for them.
We also had the opportunity to minister in 2 different churches along with various parks around the city. At all the parks we were able to give out 5lb bags of rice to all the people along with bibles and other gospel literature. During our time there we were able to pray one on one with 1,450 individuals to receive Jesus as well as seeing multiple healings. This trip was special for me as I remember back to my first missions experience when I was 14 in Venezuela and how God used that one trip to change the course of my entire life. It is truly an honor to be a part of seeing the next generation missionaries rise up to fulfill their calling.
Just this past weekend we took the entire School of Missions class 36 in all, about 2 hours away to a Ranch for the weekend where we were able to just get away from all distractions and hear from God. We laughed and cried and had an amazing time being together. In just a few weeks many of them will graduate and step out to follow the call on their lives, so this truly was a time of solidifying relationships. Ryan and I have been so blessed to be able to mentor these men and women many from around the world who are going to go back to their own nations and have a tremendous impact in seeing them brought to Jesus. We couldn’t ask for a better group to work with than these students.
Thank you for being a part of raising up this new generation of missionaries who are going to go and bring in the final harvest and usher in the return of Jesus.
